The saints who came before 

Were brave, patient, and holy, 

I mean to be that, too,

But I don’t feel worthy.

But they’re really like each of us  

With normal everyday lives.

They just chose to be holy

And for that I can try!

I’m called to be a saint just like them

to be holy where I am.

The calling isn’t just for a few 

‘Cause I know that I can be a saint, too.

I know I can sing with all

 the saints in glory,

To live a life like them,

To share your story.

To be a mirror

of you up above.

So the world knows and feels

your unending love
